Éliminatoires Mondial Qatar 2022: Le président Félix Tshisekedi promet de décorer les léopards en cas de qualification au Mondial
À la veille du match RDC- BÉNIN comptant pour la dernière journée des qualifications pour le mondial Qatar 2022, le Président de la République Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo est allé encourager l’équipe nationale de son pays.
Dans une brève adresse en français et lingala, le Président de la République a d’abord félicité les fauves congolais après leur dernière prestation à l’extérieur avant de les inviter à rééditer l’exploit ce dimanche 15 novembre.
« Cela fait 47 ans que notre pays n’a plus été qualifié pour la coupe du monde. Vous avez le devoir historique de ramener la RDC au Qatar », leur a-t-il dit.
« Jouez libérés et restez concentrés » a dit le Président de la République. « En cas de qualification, je promets de vous décorer comme l’avait fait le Maréchal Mobutu à vos aînés de la génération 74 », a affirmé le Chef de l’Etat.
Tout en prenant l’engagement de résoudre les problèmes logistiques, le Président Felix Antoine Tshisekedi a confirmé sa présence ce dimanche au Stade des Martyrs. Le Président Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo a eu un aparté d’une dizaine de minutes avec les joueurs exclusivement.
Le premier supporter des équipes nationales a fait de même avec les membres du staff technique sortis souriants de cette consultation. Les congolais sont dans l’obligation de battre les béninois au stade des Martyrs de Kinshasa. Le reste sera joué dans une double confrontation.
